The U14 Girls recently had a remarkable end to their season, placing joint 1st in the PCJSL end-of-season tournament. The girls put in a fantastic effort, with some outstanding performances over the course of the two weekends of the tournament.
The first weekend of the tournament saw the U14 Girls play two games. The first match was against FC Tucson Soul Warriors, which was a closely contested affair. Despite putting in a great effort, the U14 Girls were defeated by a score of 1-0.
Despite this setback, the team remained determined and focused, and they came back strong in their second match of the day, against FC Sonora Phoenix. The girls showed great skill and teamwork, scoring three goals and winning the match by a score of 3-1.
The second weekend of the tournament saw the team play two more matches. The first match was against the AYSO Alliance Club Wolves, and the girls completely dominated the match. The team put in a fantastic performance, scoring seven goals and conceding just one, winning the match by an impressive score of 7-1.
In their final match of the tournament, against the Renegades Lady Pumas, the U14 Girls once again showed their skill and determination. They controlled the game from start to finish, scoring two goals and keeping a clean sheet to win the match by a score of 2-0.

One player who particularly stood out was Hailey Dale, who was the top scorer for the U14 Girls team during the tournament. Her outstanding skills and precision on the field helped her team secure important victories. Additionally, Abby Lewis led the team in assists, showing her impressive talent in setting up her teammates for scoring opportunities. Goals also came from Hayden, Maddie, Elizabeth, and Sadie, who all made valuable contributions to the team's success.
