"Having grown up in Ireland  I was surrounded by “football” and played all through my youth with local teams.  When I turned 17 I moved to the US and joined the military.  I am married to Maria and have 3 daughters.  In 2013 I retired from the Army after twenty years and continue to work as an instructor for the Department of the Army.  I have been playing soccer for most of my life. I played competitive soccer in Germany for several years. I currently play in the Sierra Vista Adult league. I enjoy being active and totally appreciate the camaraderie in the  sport.  Coaching youth soccer is very rewarding for me.  It allows me the opportunity to pass on the enjoyment I have received throughout my years of playing the wonderful game of soccer.  I believe that each athlete should play hard, give 100%, play fair remembering it is just a game, and always enjoy what they are doing. In order to provide this, we must create an environment that encourages learning and developing, both on and off the field."
